Details: The Gorham Buttercup pattern was introduced in 1899 and features a delicate floral design with buttercup blossoms, scrolls, and leaves. It was produced during a period of popular Greco-Roman applied art and has remained a popular, timeless design for over a century due to its intricate and elegant craftsmanship. It is still produced today and remains a top-seller.
The back is stamped a lion, an anchor, and a script “G” followed by the word “STERLING" and “PATENT 1900” further up the handle.
